Thursday will not only be the busiest days of Jeff Ireland’s tenure with the Miami Dolphins, but it’ll likely be the one that defines his career as an NFL executive.
The Dolphins’ general manager not only must cut players with bloated salaries, sign his six draft picks before Friday’s start of training camp, but he’s also working to finalize trades and restructured contracts for Denver quarterback Kyle Orton and Saints tailback Reggie Bush.
